Directory Policy
Last updated: January 2026
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the platform wirtschaftsforensik.ch and the purchase of paid services by providers (the “Customer”).
Visitors who access the publicly available content do not enter into any contractual obligations by merely using the platform.
2. Services
The Operator provides an independent, editorially curated platform covering economic forensics, economic crime, prevention, compliance, and related topics.
All editorial content is freely accessible and is provided solely for information, awareness, and professional context.
Paid services are limited to:
- the publication of provider profiles (“Provider Portraits”),
- optional add-on features within such portraits.
3. No Legal or Professional Advice
The content provided does not constitute legal, tax, audit, or other professional advice. It does not replace individual advice from qualified professionals.
Despite careful preparation, no warranty is given as to accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Any liability for decisions or actions taken based on the content is excluded.
4. Contract Formation & Payment
A contract is concluded when the Customer selects a paid package, completes the checkout process, and payment has been successfully processed.
By completing payment, the Customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Refunds and Abuse Reservation
If a paid listing is rejected during editorial review prior to activation, any payments already made will generally be refunded in full.
However, the Operator reserves the right to refuse a full or partial refund in cases of manifestly abusive, fraudulent, or clearly inappropriate orders, to the extent that payment, transaction, or administrative costs have already been incurred.
This reservation shall only be applied in clearly justified exceptional circumstances. Each case will be assessed individually and objectively.
5. Term and Fees
Services are provided for a fixed term of twelve (12) months. The term begins upon editorial approval and activation of the relevant Provider Portrait on the platform.
This is explicitly not a subscription. There is no automatic renewal.
Before the end of the term, the Customer may be informed about a possible renewal. There is no obligation to renew.
6. Admission of Provider Listings and Editorial Review
The publication of a provider profile in the directory is subject to a formal and editorial review by the Operator.
This review serves solely to safeguard the professional focus and integrity of the platform. It does not constitute:
- a professional or qualitative evaluation of services,
- a legal or financial due diligence process,
- a credit assessment,
- certification or endorsement.
There is no entitlement to publication. The Operator may reject a listing or request modifications to be made by the Customer if:
- information is incomplete, inconsistent, or misleading,
- legal concerns arise,
- the services do not align with the thematic focus of the platform,
- the integrity or credibility of the platform could be compromised.
Provider texts are published in the language submitted by the customer. No translation or linguistic adaptation is provided.
Inclusion in the directory does not constitute endorsement, warranty, or assumption of liability for the provider’s services.
The Operator reserves the right to deactivate or remove published listings if circumstances subsequently arise that render publication inappropriate or incompatible with the platform’s editorial standards.
