Last updated: January 2026

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of wirtschaftsforensik.ch and the purchase of paid services by providers (“Customer”).

Visitors accessing publicly available content do not enter into any contractual obligations by using the platform.

2. Services

The Operator provides an independent, editorially curated platform covering economic forensics, economic crime, prevention, compliance, and related topics.

All editorial content is freely accessible and serves informational and professional purposes only.

Paid services are limited to:

  • publication of provider profiles (“Provider Portraits”),
  • optional add-on features within such portraits.

3. No Legal or Professional Advice

The content provided does not constitute legal, tax, audit, or other professional advice and does not replace individual consultation with qualified professionals.

No warranty is given as to accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Liability for decisions based on the content is excluded.

4. Contract Formation and Payment

A contract is concluded when the Customer selects a paid package, completes checkout, and payment is successfully processed.

By completing payment, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms.

5. Term and Fees

Services are provided for a fixed term of twelve (12) months, beginning upon editorial approval and activation of the Provider Portrait.

This is not a subscription. No automatic renewal applies.

The Customer may be informed about renewal before expiry. Renewal is entirely voluntary.

6. Prices and Taxes

All prices are displayed transparently.

If VAT is not shown, services are currently provided without VAT. Should VAT obligations arise, VAT will be charged accordingly.

The Customer is responsible for assessing any tax obligations in their own jurisdiction.

7. Admission of Provider Listings and Editorial Review

Publication of provider profiles is subject to formal and editorial review.

This review does not constitute:

  • professional or qualitative evaluation,
  • legal or financial due diligence,
  • credit assessment,
  • certification or endorsement.

There is no entitlement to publication. The Operator may reject or request modifications if:

  • information is incomplete or misleading,
  • legal concerns arise,
  • services do not align with the platform’s focus,
  • platform integrity could be compromised.

If rejected prior to activation, payments will be fully refunded.

The Operator may deactivate listings if later circumstances render publication inappropriate.

Inclusion does not constitute endorsement or liability.

8. Customer Obligations

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that submitted content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe third-party rights.

9. Liability

The Operator does not warrant the accuracy of Customer-provided information.

Liability for indirect damages, loss of profit, or reputational damage is excluded. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence where permitted by law.

10. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the separate Privacy Policy.

11. International Availability

This offering is accessible internationally. Content and legal references are primarily aligned with Swiss and European legal standards.

12. Amendments

The Operator may amend these Terms. The version valid at contract conclusion applies.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.

Place of jurisdiction is the Operator’s place of business, where legally permitted.
